ASTM A193 B6 Bolts mainly consist of Chromium (11.5–13.5%), Carbon (0.08–0.15%), Manganese (≤1%), Silicon (≤1%), Phosphorus (≤0.04%), and Sulfur (≤0.03%), with iron making up the rest. They boast a tensile strength of around 585 MPa, a yield strength of 275 MPa, and impressive hardness at about 223 HB. Thanks to their martensitic microstructure, these bolts offer excellent wear resistance, mechanical strength, and moderate corrosion resistance, especially in mildly corrosive settings. They maintain structural integrity and resist oxidation even at high temperatures, making them ideal for high-stress, heat-exposed mechanical assemblies.
