Stainless Steel 446 Bolts are composed of approximately 23–27% chromium, small amounts of molybdenum, manganese, and silicon, with low carbon content. This composition provides exceptional resistance to oxidation, sulfur corrosion, and thermal fatigue. The alloy maintains good strength and toughness even at temperatures exceeding 1100°C. It offers a tensile strength of around 620 MPa and excellent stability during thermal cycling.
